But how "green" are U.S. green labels?

I completely support green building, but can we really trust the U.S. certified "green" label? The Sustainable Forestry Initiative has certified several of the timber industry's practices as "green" when in reality they are destroying forests, creating landslides, and polluting the water supply. Help make a difference and tell the FTC to put an end to SFI greenwashing; sign the petition here: http://ow.ly/hRo20 - Jennifer Halliday
