50k/year in the car

People who drive 50k/year should think about alternatives anyway. Think - driving 50k/year at average 30 miles/h (this is probably best case), would mean that that person spends about 4.6 hours a day in the car. That is inhuman!!! It seems like change in behavior does not only save energy, but also time... - carbonthief light bulbs

Plug-in Hybrids: The Future of the Electric Car Grid

I won't buy a hybrid until the car companies at least sell plug-in hybrids. I'm really holding out for plug-in hybrids with range extended, on-board power generation from liquid fuels (like the Volt). I don't care if it puts a strain on the electric grid. I REFUSE to buy another car that only gives me one fuel choice. Preferably, I want three fuel choices minimum. Gas, Ethanol, and Electric is one combination. Diesel, BioDiesel, Electric is another. I'm tired of being forced to buy gasoline and gasoline only. I want fuel choices, now! I won't support the automotive industry by buying another car until they give a fuel choice. Long live the people! - Ecir Nodnarb

Cars revolution

I believe almost all of car owners now are getting practical and conscious of the quality of what they are driving plus its effect to the immediate surrounding compared before...
For me, I'll take it as a good news... ;) - Volvo brakes guy
