{mosimage}Falling into the category of “duh” inventions is this little device that pops on the top of a nine volt battery. Suddenly, the candle seems so obsolete! OK, this isn't a complicated post, but you gotta love when we're able to make something that is tiny, cheap, useful and efficient (not only in its use of electricity, but also in the use of materials.)
Pak-Lite says you'll get more than 20 hours on per charge on a nine-volt battery. Of course, if you use this thing on a battery that's not rechargeable, it becomes more a wasteful device than a marvelous toy. So, stock up on nine volt rechargeables and visit 9voltlight.com .

I could see using this for batteries removed from smoke detectors and medical devices. Batteries that are "still good" but must be replaced for safety and insurance issues.

Verizon is about the only place you can get the authentic RIM product and matching door. Most other sites are out of stock and even when they are in stock they have the black battery door which looks like crap. http://www.batteryfast.co.uk
I tested this camera for a client. I didn’t have the light running for more than 15 minutes. The battery lasted approximately 6 hours before recharging. The LCD, however, had a few dead pixels - never saw this before. Tried returning for exchange and had to put up quite a fight. Anyone else seen this? http://www.batteryfast.com
