China to Install 10 Million EV Parking Spots by 2020

If you thought that China had hit their limit on ambitious renewable energy-related plans, think again.  The Chinese government is set to best price on levitra announce that they will install 10 million parking spots for electric vehicle charging by 2020 in order to support a major increase in electric vehicle production in the country.

The government expects electric vehicle production in China to hit one million units by 2020, and the country's automakers are planning to concentrate on all-electric vehicles as opposed to hybrids or fuel-cell vehicles.

To help drive growth in the industry, many cities have introduced incentive plans for purchasing electric cars worth up to $18,170 per car.

"WOW!" was the first thing that comes to my mind when I've read this. 10 million parking spots for electric vehicles by the year 2020.. WOW! Definitely a HUGE project of the Chinese Government. This is a great innovation from China.

Sounds good. I read that there's going to be around 12,000 or so installed in the US the next 18 months, up from about 1,800 now. Hmm, quite a difference there.

The wheels are going to fall off the Chinese economy this year. It is going to be a re-run of the US GFC with wider repercussions for all.
